Im not a fan of that hood on camaros. But none the less I can still apreciate good work. It is very well done and i do like the way it looks with the silver stripes just not on that car if it makes any sense. But I would give it 10 personal preferance aside.

looks great sean! for those that asked about the hatch he only did the hood and i am glad because stripes on the back woulda looked like azz. the silver really looks good though sean good choice! i think i remember you wanting black before when we were talking about it, the silver looks alot better, the black woulda been pretty dull with the two dark colors the silver gives it some pop.

the same guy that painted his hood painted my iroc. he does great work. he is painting my 69 firebird soon.

 

the hood looks great. which makes my choices on a hood even harder. i dont know if i want the ram air hood like that, a 2in 69 camaro type cowl, or a early z28 hood.

 

Looks awesome. Even if that car had a 4 banger in it. It looks like it's going a 100+ miles an hour. I thinks awesome.

Thank you guys for all the nice words, and yes I left the rear unstriped, I think this looks good the way it is, I am going to add a high rise if I can find one for a fair price. And Mike he is a great painter, he wil be finishing off the car this winter...... Will give your Iroc a run for its money for being the hottest in town...LOL

 

Like I said on Z28.com, your car looks killer bro. I'm glad you didn't put stripes on the hatch, there's really no stripes that would compliment the hood stripes with THAT HOOD very well. They're not your typical racing stripes or heritage stripes, they're unique. It would be hard to get something to look good on the hatch stripe-wise.

 

can you get a top-down angle pic from further back?

We have the same hood and a similar color...but I want a good perspective of the black headlight pockets so I can decide whether or not I want to paint them

 

3rd gens were made to have black headlight buckets, no matter what the body color is.

 

i disagree camaros give black eyes they shouldnt have them

headlight pockets have to be painted black.Hood also looks great.I used to have those rims.I may have to get me some more they look good on your car too.Tires where just really expensive.

Oh it is running very strong, went to the track friday and it destroyed my clutch, was over powering it, I just spent some big money on a real set up. Hoping to get mid 11's out of it, that is with it weighing 3400 with me in it
