Not done, but wanted to share...
Ok guys, I've been on this site for a long time. I sold the car that was "finished" long ago, and wanted one again in the worst way. Well I came across this 85 t top camaro z28 lb9 auto, and just had to have it. I hated the color(like black but not gold), but there was no rust on it, it was clean. Needed a ton of bodywork though but it was all there. Anyways heres what I started with:

Well I got it home(it actually drove home, which is something rare for me.) and immediately started disassembly. I never really got to drive it for fun.

Re: Not done, but wanted to share...
I coated the floor pans with por15, patched the rear where the impact absorber is mounted, and started the bodywork with the help of my friend who's family owns a bodyshop. We shaved the door handles, shaved the antenna hole, added a hawks 5" spoiler and SS hood, and did all the bodywork it needed.

Then we painted it 2005 pontiac gto impulse blue metallic

It's obviously not completely together, but it looks like a car again now. I've been working on it slowly for over a year and a half. Next is drivetrain, then suspension/brakes. The rims are going, just on there until i decide what i want. Any comments or opinions?

Was it hard aligning the front two fenders, and the nose up ? I took mine off, put them back on, the left side has a finger gap in the fender/door crack and toward the headlights the nose touches the hood on the left front fender.

dang, nice job man!! Love the color!
I actually think those rims don't look too bad at all on the car, especially with the blue

----------
The paint job with all materials and bodywork ended up costing me $1850 all said and done, wetsanded and buffed. My buddies dad owns the shop and he gave me a decent deal because I send a ton of work his way and he made me promise when it's done this summer to park it out front.

No worries all the lights including taillights but excluding headlights are getting tinted. Front lights are all getting replaced too!
