Leaving Third Gens for awhile... Ill be back tho!

I decided to pick up a 1979 Z28 for trade for the IROC-Z. I will get another third gen but i wanted to get a classic before they get to expensive. I will show the new car but i will be around the boards and get me another third gen. -Matt

lol yea it was hard to leave the ROC. But the 79 Z has some decent dents but i mean it has not one rust hole in the quaters, trunk, floors nothing. Its a second owner car so im the third. It was just a great deal. Of coarse ill need a daily driver so im gonna pick up another third gen. But sadly right now its one or the other.

Here is the new ride. 79 Z, 350 auto runs pretty good. I have the other factory wheel thats just a spare. Just wanted to share with everyone. I will get another third gen but for now things have went in a different direction.

Re: Leaving Third Gens for awhile... Ill be back tho!

Thats a nice ride. I remember this dude had a 79 Z28(yellow) when I had my 85 ROC. He always wanted to race me. I never did race cuz I didnt think i could win. My ROC was a 305 and it topped out at 80mph! He was pushing a 350 with a few mods if i recall correctly. Anyway bro.. be prepared to drop lots of cash into her. U know how these older fixer uppers are! lol Good Luck

Damn man that thing is NICE. It was a straight trade. No boot either way. Im satisfied with the trade. The car is in great shape for the age and its coming along fine. Interior is in good shape.

Nice project. My dad has had 2 '79 Z28's and 1 '78. I can't remember which one of his was the same colour as that one though. Should post the updates when they come!
