My 87 IROC-Z
Been here a while just never got around to puttin up a pic or two of my IROC. Got it about 15 months ago and have been fixing it up bit by bit. finally to the point where all i have left is the interior. That and I didn't bolt down the deals on the hood well enough and the wind ripped it off. Still haven't found those.

There she is right after it was finished being painted. Sorry bout the glare. Camera phone
Here's another one that turned out better.

And finally, engine ****. Definitely have some cleaning up to do but it runs very well now.

The little strips of duct tape you see are labeling my plug wires. little quirk of mine that helps me when I work on it. makes it quicker and easier if I have to disconnect everything.

Re: My 87 IROC-Z
Thanks guys. Yeah I actually got it painted as my Christmas present to myself last year. So it's been painted for 10 months now. But yeah I got the idea for the black with the red stripes from the 92 25th anniversary and then I loved the way the silver trim looked on the black Dale Sr. edition monte carlos so I added that in there. Then one of the mirrors was still red so I figured what the hell, might as well match the stripes. I do like being able to say that I designed the paint scheme since you didn't see any IROCs like that LOL. I just need to get the decals and everything to finish it up on the outside. And of course the interior that needs finished. might throw some 4th Gen seats in there since I take it up to cruise ins in kentucky a lot and the seats in there get uncomfortable after a while. I also worked the exhaust to where you can't see the tailpipe unless you get under the car. that allowed me to just run a single 3" pipe since i was keeping it concealed.

Paint looks good! Now get a cap to your coolant res. and change that coolant too it looks really dirty! Take a hose to the engine compartment!

Yeah I do need to get the compartment cleaned up. And actually the reservoir is what's really dirty. the coolant is fairly new. Right now it's just hard to find the time with school going on and everything. What little time I've had has been used up making repairs to my daily driver.
