Don't be discouraged by the lack of responses, doesn't mean people aren't paying attention. Keep us posted on your progress, looking forward to the pictures of the painted engine compartment.

Re: my winter project progress

so, how do you get to the shutoff? or is this just a security feature and not a shutoff for racing purposes?

looking good so far

I like the shut - off idea. You could just take the panel off to pass tech at the track.

Confused a little bit. (Because I'm New)
So what is the reason for repositioning the battery?
More weight on the back tires?

i made it so theres only on screw securing the black plastic piece of the taillight. i used a dremel to remove the inside "framing" of the black piece. it sits flush and will never tell its there. basically remove the cover at the track, and put back on when not. keeps touchy peoples hands off it

moving it to the back gives it better weight transfer, and gives the "torque" side more to work with, having it over the pass side tire

Re: my winter project progress

well beem at sort of a stand still with getting things done in the engine bay. for one i need my engine in so i can run the rest of the fuel lines and etc. but got the fuel regulator ran, and just gotta tie it into the hard line for the fuel. got some more pics of the engine bay below. also got my trans rebuilt with shift kit, corvette servo, and changed the 7 vane out for a 10 vane. hope itll liven it up a lil! keep comments coming!
