Re: yellow 88
heres a list of the changes made:
changed from a 3.23 drum rear to a fourth gen 3.42 disk rear
1LE 12inch front breaks
swapped out the 700R4 for a T5
Fourth gen firebird leather seats(they were free)
shaved the antenna(radio work flawlessly)
A/C delete
Smog delete
EGR delete
fourth gen washer solvent and coolant tanks
2002 sierra cd player upgrade.. factory radios look so much better and nobody wants to steal them.
tinted windows 35%
the car was stripped all the way down to the tub for the paint(no half @$$ work here)
rolled the rear quarters for more clearance, also eliminated the beadrolled crease thats in the rear quarters....seemed odd that it was only on the rears of these cars and not the fronts as well.
Paint of course.
SS style hood..
and to think all this started because of a stupid deer.

Man, I wish I could. I have to drill at my unit that weekend. Seems like every year something comes up that I am unable to go.

The engine bay isn't pretty, not yet any way. I was waiting till I yank the motor out to paint all that stuff. I wanted to enjoy the car alittle bit this year. I might pull it this winter and spray it then. Maybe when I get out of work tomorrow I'll snap a picture. You've been warned, Its not the best looking, not like my Monte SS's engine bay.

You did a great job with the car! I am liking that yellow pearl paint, kinda like Lambo yellow! I am not feeling the wheels though. Rest of the car looks great!

Re: yellow 88
Kinda TOP SECRET...lol I wanted something NOBODY had, I had torq thrust on it at one point. but those came from my Monte when it was getting the fuel Injection overhaul. They belonged on the Monte so they had to go back on it. I wanted a Pro Touring style wheel. They look better in person.

Re: yellow 88
Sinister Z, I had drill. Hopefully drill is on a different weekend next year, I was really looking forward to going but Drill takes precedence. Showed a friend the pictures of my car.... i got the third degree because they do professional photography.. long story short as soon as its fully buttoned up I'll have professional pictures to show everyone. Then you can really get a feel for the color.
