This MSP thirdgen sets in front of the ferensics lab about 15 miles from where I live. It is in great shape. Just had to get a pic of it next to my 86 sport coupe.

I do not think they are on duty in Michigan. I think they keep them there for show.

Michigan is proud of their state police vehicles.

I kinda wish Texas was the same.

 

I am pretty sure they are display only. The thirdgen has been seen at car shows in the area. There is also an older caprice and a 5.0 mustang on display.

 

where is charlotte mi. compared to clinton township mi.?

 

Only one thing missing, the STOP sign on the hood that all other Michigan Police cars have. It would spoil the look anyway. Nice pics

Yes all MSP cars have this light. They also refer to it as a bubble gum machine.

Where is this located in about 20 miles from Charlotte I live in Portland.

 

This is on Canal rd near the truck stop on Lansing rd just off 96. If you know where 96 and 69 merge just past Saginaw highway in Delta township going east, Lansing rd is the next exit. Go south, It is at the building right next to the state police road coarse testing area. You can see the coarse to the right while on 96 just before the exit. But last time I was by there the car was not there. It is the only 1 of 2 left. The other was crashed in a high speed chase back in the mid 90's.

 

Yup I know exactly where that's at. I'm Gunna have to go check it then sometime.

By the way my car no longer looks like that. It is in the middle of a repaint. It is in primer right now. Going silver pearl. And a totally different look.

 

Yea I've seen the new look on mifbody. The new color is Gunna be killer looking.

It has 1.75" ksport drop springs. No isolater in front. I think I'll pull out the rear isolater and cut 1/2 a coil off the front for a little more drop. Been thinking about doing that for a while.

 

Summertime I gotta drive my car lol it's the only time to cruise in this state.
