86 engine bay question

86 engine bay question

can anyone show me how an 86 camaors windsheild washerbottle connects to the pump and where the hell the pump is? i cant figure this out at all and i needhelp with this.

Not sure what years but i know that GM had mounted them either on the wiper motor or on the washer bottle.

i dont have the one with the pump in the bottle..where is pump located at on the moter? i feel really stupid asking this question but i need this hooked up

The wiper motors bolted on the firewall. in this explode the pump is number 2.

just went out and looked and the nossle that comes out of the pump is broken, are these replaceable?

Yes, the pump slips into the wiper motor so no need to replace it all, get a new pump and swap it. Very easy to do.

i cant seem to get the pump out, its not wanting to come out, someone told me i needed to turn it then it will slide out?

There's a small metal clip that holds it in (no 2 in the blowup pic), don't turn it or you'll break off the contacts in the wiper housing

the metal clip is the round ring right? how do i get that off?

No, #2 is a small metal retainer clip. Pry it out and the washer pump simply pulls out.

so i pry the ring off? can i use a flat head screw driver for this or do i need a special tool?
