Gettin back into the 3rd Gen swing

This summer will be the 10th year of me owning my 88 Camaro, bought it at 15yo, ill be 25 this summer
For the past 3-4 years it has taken a backseat to pretty much everything... ive been fixing up other cars and selling them, i buy myself sumthin new to drive daily like once a year and focus on making them pretty... the camaro finally got a garage maybe 3 years ago now, and its about 20 minutes from home, the saying out of sight, out of mind comes to play, as it got taken out only twice last year!
finally it cant pass nj emmisions anymore, its carb'd with no emmisions equipment left... stupid nj changed the 'collectors registration/inspection' rules the year i was due and i missed it waiting for it to be a historic vehicle in a few years lol
anyway i hadnt been on the site in a while and stumbled on it one day and am so impressed, seeing all these third gens being fixed up, and the values increasing on our cars!
so i figured id show all of you the progress ive had in the last 10 years

this is the oldest i have on this computer... id say fall 2004

here it is in fall 2005... post TPI conversion and headers/exhaust, painted stock wheels for winter and some stripes

this might be spring 2007, C5Z wheels and adapters, high rise wing, louvers

june of 2007 came some night shaded tails and the 92 gfx conversion began

by august 2007 the gfx were painted, and stripes removed

by sept 07 i was bored with all white, purchased 4th gen hockey stripes

Re: Gettin back into the 3rd Gen swing

spring 08, not much changed

may of 08... she got lowered

spring 2009 brought some new parking lights and LED bulbs

spring 2010 got a new steel cowl hood, and new stock'er looking fogs

and some period correct appearing stripe tape

right now she sits in the garage with a severe trans leak... been thinkin about having a 350 put in it too. we shall see

Does the front bumper not have the pin striping? And you should really paint the headlight buckets black, that would really set it off

I've gotta say, I like how the car looked in the first picture with the wheels from the second picture the best. Still a great car, but all the extra stripes and stuff ruin it for me.

Pretty cool seeing all the different wheels, louvers, spoilers, ground effects etc...all from one owner. IMO I would paint the headlight buckets black.
