Looks amazing Nick! I really like the darker brushed effect coming out of the blisters. Damn Landon did a gret job!

I placed an order last night for new door panels for the car, black vinyl with the black carpet and a diagonal split between. They will look great!

Still waiting on the harness to get here so we have been working on the interior and other stuff for the time being. We got a bunch of brand new GM parts installed today: hood to cowl weather strip, door lock switches, door panel plastic plates for the switches, and the dash emblem. We got the new door panels installed also which are from www.1aauto.com and they are fantastic looking. Well worth the money spent.
The second photo is real crappy I was trying to get a pic of the door lock switches but the flash went off on my phone and blurred it all out.

We also got the carpet laid in but have to figure out a couple of wires before we put the seats in and put the door sills in.

Did you use ford to chevy adapters for the rims? If so, what sizes did you use? I would go with the tinted turn signal & parking lamps they have on ebay.

No they arent adapters for the bolt pattern but there is a small spacer, maybe an inch wide? I would have to look closer.
We swaped in some clear front marker lights over the weekend in place of the orange ones..

Just a small update:
The engine and trans are in the car, had to order a few parts that we weren't aware we needed like Corvette valve covers, a new power steering pump pulley, and some a/c compressor bolts for the bracket. I've been told that the harness is in the mail so it will be here next week I hope. Should be up and running in the next 2 weeks if all goes as planned.

I dont know how I missed this before, but in swapping out the gas tank and upgrading the pump it was discovered that the previous owner swapped in a 9 bolt rear. I thought it was kind of weird that it had disc brakes but never really looked into it.

Here are updated pictures. I'm mailing out the wiring harnesses to another member here to get the swap harness built and this is how she sits.
The SLP 2OTL exhaust looks great in my opinion. It's going to sound even better.

Got the harness in the mail from Z28ricer and starting plugging everything in tonight. Had to order two o2 sensors and a coolant temp sending unit, and gotta find the right plug for the C4 a/c compressor. After those small items are done, gotta have an o2 bung welded onto the passenger side header and just finish up wiring the power distribution block and she should be about ready to fire finally! yessssss

It came with the exhaust system with the car, appears to be stainless steel, and is definitly not restrictiveso he went with it. plus he wants the least amount of hassles getting a safety inspection done as possible and in MO, you have to have a cat for the visual safety inspection...i dont have one thohgh haha

My dad was dropping it off at the shop to get a few last items done to get it running for this weekend and the thing rolled off the trailer accidentally into another trailer on the lot, destroying the rear bumper and doing sone damage to the quarter panel. I havent seen it yet but he said its prettt bad and hes real upset about it...we are lookin into the possibility of flying the painter in town (7 hrs away by car)...freaking sucks.

He's looking to try to get the sheet metal beat back in and welded shut and then ground down and filled as opposed to cutting the quarter off and having a new one trimmed down and welded on. It definitely sucks either way you do it...

wow - that could make someone very sick. Months of waiting and then this happens. Truly sorry to hear this happening! So close and now more waiting. I really hope for all the effort and waiting that this turns out well.

Good news and bad news....good news first:
My dad got to finally hear it run yesterday. He said it sounds great, not too loud but has a nice tone.
He couldnt drive it home because they need to address a few small things first:
-forgot to ground the electric water pump so it wasnt kicking on
-need to burp the cooling system
-power steering gearbox seems to be leaking and will need new seals
-we believe the t bolt on the clutch fork is loose because when the pedal is depressed fully theres a bad grinding noise
Bad news:
Insurance isnt covering the damage to his car so the repairs will come out of pocket. He is going to try to get it taken care of within a few months if possible.

Still haven't fixed the body damage but it did make it's maiden voyage today (finally!). It gets dropped off Monday to have the body fixed. We're still fixing just a few minor bugs that come with any swap but it runs and drives nice and is a fun one to watch going down the road. We took it on a 200 mile cruise for its first drive and it didn't have any hiccups which is a testament to Z28ricer and his wiring harness that he made for us. Enjoy the pics and the YouTube video of a startup and it idling. It's not loud but the SLP two on the left catback sounds great. The white car is my brother's 97 SS heritage clone.

Wow! Looks amazing! The only time I let someone else touch my car was when I had it painted. Unfortunately by macco and it was probably the worst 1200 I've spent on my car so far so hats off to you for making a DIY job look amazing. I've been thinking about redoing it myself but I don't even know where to begin. Painting cars is pretty foreign to me. As far as the stripes go I don't think it's something I would do to my car but it's deffinately a sweet concept and the quality is outstanding! I love the 25th anniversary decal too, now that's something I would do. Obviously I don't have a 25th anniversary camaro but something there would be cool like "T.P.I. 350" or "350-Z" or something. But amazing job! Keep it up.

I believe the wheels have an inch or so thick adapter that change the bolt pattern.
The paint was done by a professional that is a good friend of mine. Theres no way my dad and I could turn out that kind of quality in our garage

The body damage has finally been fixed and you can't even tell that it ever happened. It looks amazing, definitely pleased with the result. The aftermarket rear bumper from Classic Industries looks great as well.

Last picture has nothing to do with the body work, just showing how straight the car is.
