Plasmeh that is truly a great transformation & your car looks great!!!
Unfortunately I am in the "Then" stage of my car....LOL, I hope to be in the "Now" around November of this year. I will be putting in new seats tomorrow. I will take some pics of the current seats. So far I did upgrade the wheels & lowered the car.

Re: Then... and Now! :D
I'm not sure why this was moved to the 'Members Camaro' section - it's for everybody.
Regardless, the panel you see in the hood latch area is stainless steel that was hand made to fit that area using the stock black piece as a template. There is about 15 hours of work altogether in that piece alone. The majority of the time came from placing each circular sand mark exactly .015" apart from eachother. Thanks for the compliments guys! I have loved every minute of taking this car from what it was to what it is. I just got married, and my wife loves the car as well. This one is staying with me no matter what. She can stay, too.
polaris, thats a hilarious picture of when you go the car with everything piled on it lol

I already have a thread chronicling my restoration (so I'm just gonna link it, lol), with then and now pics, mind you it is still very much a work in progress, though she has certainly come a ways since I bought her.
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/memb...-4-camaro.html
I don't have pics of everything up yet though, cause I need to get them off my mother's SD card(had use her card since mine got lost).

It has so far but i already have a fund for a tremic for when it goes. I'm 40 years old it is more of a tool around car not a full blown drag car so i am not that hard on it yet. but give me time I have jumped on it once In my drive left 2 10 foot black marks then pulled back did it again and the car hooked that time. when i say jumped on it i mean 1/4 pedal and let the clutch out alittle fast not dumped
when it was an Auto i drove down the street with it and thought the trans was slipping nope the tires were
that was only 1/4 pedal also. it's putting down about 590hp to the wheels. it's 13.5 to 1 compression and a lunati braket master cam with a 850 holley done at lawrenceville speed shop flowed or whatever to 930. it has a lakewood scatter sheild 11 inch zoom clutch and 3.42 gears in the rear

Originally I had it in the general section, but it got moved to the Camaro section for some reason :P I see you got a thread started for firebirds - I love seeing how everyones project progresses through time. Everyone has to be proud of building a car rather than buying it built.

I'm using a 4th gen width rear so the only spacers are in the front. I honestly forget they're even there until it's time to do a brake job.

Re: Then... and Now! :D
Yes, it grew wings. Jk, Pretty much all the work I did to that 92 was transfered over to the 86. Everything from the LT1 swap. The body is the only original part left on this 86. I am already in the garage removing the front end for lowering. As you can see the car is a 4x4, the Intrax 2' springs should do the trick.

Re: Then... and Now! :D
Found some old pics today, this was the very first day I had it back in June, 1999. Took delivery a few hours prior:

Summer 1999:

These had to have been around 2001-2002. I thought I put the BFG Radials on in 1999, but I think it was actually spring, 2000. In the below pic, you can see the 2001 Car Craft Summer Nationals sticker in the windshield, so this put these pics somewhere shortly after that time:

And dear Lord did the car look terrible before it was lowered:

And here is the original Autotrader ad from 1999 when I found the car, I just took this picture today:

Kind of cool to find old 35mm pics. I knew I had them around somewhere.
