considering i did it all on my own with no help, it was pretty bad, just getting it lined up i'd say take the fender off and put the door on like its shut then tighten down the top hinge bolts as much as possible, then go in through the other door and tighten the bottom ones, and yeah it was cheaper then having safelight fix the window, also they old me they couldnt fix the window because of how it was broken, the track and regularot waere bent and f-ed up, the "guts" of this door are going in the other one at some point though, no way i'm keeping this door, its covered in orange peel and stinks, also the bottoms rotted away, but i needed a door cuz i have college two days a week today, and thursday, this weekedn i'm gonna try and get the original good door back on the car with this doors window and regulator/track

well the rivets are gone, the blue door is gutted, and the white door is back on with a working window BOLTED in, pics tomorrow, oh and if anyone wants to attempt this in the future, my advice is DONT its too much of a pain in the ***, and noone but an overly sentimental son of a bitch like me would do it for the sake of originality on a car that probably wont ever be worth **** and so far i've only f-ed up rather than make nicer

soooooo you took your fender off to replace your door? just open the door, and use a jack next time to hold up the door. your way sounds like a pain in the a-s-s
