Yes I know I have a sickness, don't care. Your just jealous anyways.

Found this one at a local junkyard and took it home. Doesn't need much, some fixing of wiring for cooling fans and lots of neglected maint. Has sat for last few years.

Paid $1500 and drove it home. I think I got it for a steal. Couldn't believe how complete it is, down to the factory radio. The guy at junkyard even gave me a great deal on some parts I needed for the 84 since I bought it, hehe.

How long did it set at that junkyard ? A car like that would be picked dry in about a week were I live. Nice score.

It was given to them to sell complete. It had been there for 2 weeks. A lot of junkyards have complete cars they try to sell, I did find it was missing the lower air dam. Which I found very odd, since nothing of it was left, no chunks or bolts, like it had been taken. I got one off a car in the yard for it so no biggie. The center cap for the steering wheel is in the center console, is missing some mounting tabs.

Not a bad looking car. Great to see you saved another one from the crusher.

A lot of cleaning, tune-up. Replace the vacuum lines. Fix anything that doesn't work. After that who knows, may run it around the solo course next summer. Needs paint somewhere in it's future. As you can see I am a collector so selling it doesn't really interest me but money talks. Would love to replace the vert I have now with a 89 iroc-z vert and keep it. I hope to one day own a full collection but with how first gens are pricing that may never happen. May have to settle for 2nd gen on set. Still need a 79-81 Z28 and a 98-02 Z28 :P

I have a gift for finding decently priced cars, well I think so. Here is the vert.

Just that scratch on the passenger side for body, and no major rust that I can find.
