My 86 project
Hey everybody. This is my first car project. Picked her up in July for 2,000 cash. I Dumped the girlfriend and bought a Camaro! Needs work and I have the time to do it. Once the running problems and such are worked out then the real fun can start. Still learning so any feedback is welcome!

Not knowing the condition of the engine, I'd make a guess and probably say your problem is timing related. Fuel, Spark? if so, check your timing... You may already know this, but if this is your first car project, timing alone can cause dieseling and a very frustrating no start condition if it is to far retarded.

it has a diesling problem but the timing plate is missing!! so we timed it a little by ear. Before its last hoorah a few weeks ago it did a little diesling then its been dead every since. Its been jumped twice i can sometimes get the gears n belts to turn but it seems like theres not enough juice for it to turn on. Im am gonna try to get it to a mechanic :/
