Building new Camaro

So I picked up this camaro about 4 months ago the 6 was pulled out and a 350 from a 91 suburban dropped in. Car was sitting under a tree for over a year hood didint open doors barely opened it had a driver t top on the passenger side no distributor knock in the bottom end no driver door panel or keys full of wasp and 2 snakes. I hate snakes actually sat in front of the car with my beretta waiting it was in the hood. Carpet was soaked and seats moldy. So why did I get it? V8 camaro t tops light rust and $400.

Here it is sitting at the guys house

On the interior I stripped the carpet, dash, seats and cleaned alot. Replaced the guages with autometer, 4th gen seats, rebuilt door panels and diamond plate the console the old panels were brittle and cracked carpet is ordered.

Next few things on the interior is to fix the steering column plastic is cracked and either paint the red plastics black or replace them. The engine and trans are now pulled out and ready for the new equipment. I have a 355 flat top pistons stock cam .208 valves trans is a turbo 350 with b&m shift kit 2400 stall backed up by the 4th gen rear with 3.73s and posi magnaflow duals the car should move.

Re: Building new Camaro

Thank you guys I bought a torque converter from summit 2 wks ago and it was the wrong one I got new one today slapped it on and bolted up the trans. In the down time I replaced the nonexisting carpet with black installed the motor mounts Could not believe the difference in the mounts I went with energy suspension. Got a line on some y2k rims already have spacers.

About 3 months ago I was diagnosed with reumatoid arthritis in hips knees shoulders and back. Progress is slow but I am still trying to as much myself as possible.
