my 84 camaro project
hello im brendin im 15 currently working ona 84 camaro project at votech i stripped the whole car put new quarters on it a fiberglass hood and new fenders everything is in primer just finishing on the doors i will try to post some pics not sure if i have the pic from when i bought it but the car is an 84 camaro base model pretty sure 305 700r4 trans it runs and only paid 500 for it the interior is nice but ill throw some pics up of what i have im trying to get ground effects for it not sure how i will mount them on rockers because i dont have the mounting brackets but thease pics are from a month or two ago ive gotten alot more done on the car will post picture in a week or so when its all back together with blocked down primer before i spray the basecoat

heres some pics i painted the base and clear today on the rood quarters rockers and jambs looks amazing rest of car will be painted very soon!

wont be working on my car for about a week yesterday was grinding rust off doors to plate them and rust flew up and went in my eye and i waited to today to go to hospital so it was in there deep and they had to put needles in eye and stuff to get out they got half of it out and going back monday to see if they can get rest out if not have to get some type of surgery wish me luck!

Looks good bud, hope your eye is okay. Hope you were wearing eye protection! That is definitely a must with these projects, especially gloves. I sliced my index finger on a piece of sheet metal and it got pretty deep. Luckily it healed up quick and im back to working on my 89.

car has come along way almost ready for me to drive when i get my permit in may i got the fiberglass z28 hood on it with some nice hood pins need to put the windows back on and a few other things and itll be ready to drive )

well it has been about 3 years since i been on this post or more from when i did this car when i was in highschool over the past months in between extra time at my body shop been pulling it in slowley redoing all done besieds waiting on a bumper n extra cash for wheels n tires let me know what you think thanks and yes there is a motor in it not sure why front is up so high actully put on new lowering springs and made it higher need new wheels because put 4th gen rear need diffrent backspacing

about 2-3 years just wanted to get ground effects off a iroc n cowl hood new motor n all so figured to respray

alot has changed since ive posted on this thread last ripped out engine dropped in a 327 with some trick flow twisted wedge heads waiting on new tube k member and cross member hooker lt out to a nice sounding flowmaster also switched 700r4 to a t5 untill i can afford a t56 swap
