1983 Camaro Z28 black gold project
Sure enough.... another project.
A pretty pristine 1983 z28. It's all original...well it was. Won't be for long.
The to do list
Fix brakes
Fix crappy running engine
Fix oil leaks
Some minor cosmetic issues
Might as well lower it and get some decent shocks. The stockers are junk. Also this car has progressive springs front and rear. Unlike the z28 and ws6 / iric springs I have as spares. It also has the dual muffler setup. A fiberglass hood and so on.

Do you get your hands on all thirdgens in the Netherlands? Looks great with the BBS you put on it in the wheels thread.

Away with stock. Konis and vogtlands. Some umi stuff... all easy mods and results are excellent. I did cut the vogtlands because prev installs left the front too high up.
It begs for bigger brakes and an ls swap now.

Damn, those wheels look great on there. I would assume you're going to convert the rear to disc brakes?

Honeycomb = Trans Am
Rear axle will be disc brake yes. First it's going to get registered here, then the tinkering will start. No sense in getting into a heap of trouble with the DMV here over swapped engine, transmission, brakes and who knows what. Once registered it's pretty much open season as long as iong as it meets safety standards.
Brakes will be CTS-V/ZL1 on the front and yet to be determined on the rear.
