Single line irocs on a Firebird, Yea Baby!

I finally mounted my tires on my Iroc rims, 225/50/ZR16's. It took 3 hours to put them on at school, and scraped one rim, but I can fix it another day. But here's a pic!
I gotta get a paint job...

nice pic, man... bird looks mean sitting there. You know everyone is gonna start with the "now you gotta lower it" thing, but I think it looks good the way it is. What part took 3 hours?

Re: Single line irocs on a Firebird, Yea Baby!

Thanks guys, I spent 125$ for the rims, sanded them, and cleaned them up. The tires, Michelins, got for 190$ for the whole set..

It took me 3 hours to put them on the rim, and balance them, I also had to change a stripped lug on my front brake disk, too..

Re: Single line irocs on a Firebird, Yea Baby!

it doesnt look bad, but it doesnt look amazing. the wheels look at home on that car, as if they came stock on the car. as you know, the firebird and camaro look similar in shape

so overall thats a good look

3 hours to mount and balance some tires?!

I can do it by myself in about 15 mintues..

They look pretty damn nice on there, sometimes I wish I had a Bird instead.

Re: Single line irocs on a Firebird, Yea Baby!

The new tires didn't want to fit on the rim... Took 4 guys and the tire machine to get 3 of them on, yet the 4th one slid on like a dream...

I've always had a thing for Iroc wheels on a Firebird. They look great. I hear you on the tire machine. You always get the occasional tire that wants to give you a hard time.

Now that looks good right there! You should grab some chrome IROC's like I have on my car and that thing would look real good then! But def. an improvement over stock TA wheels. Anyone ever seen chrome 2 line IROC's?
