Got the formy all cleaned up
Our car club is having a dyno meet next weekend. Since I don't get off work till dark, and its supposed to be in the teens all week, I washed/waxed vacuumed today. This car was totalled 1.5 years ago, I fixed it all up, painted it, put in gta seats with a hampton vinyl kit, and new carpet. I also powder coated the wheels with Black Chrome. I used hotchkis springs for the lowering, kyb struts, polygraphite front end kit, built my own subframes, panhard, and wonderbar, boxed the rear control arms etc. Car currently has a 327 with all of the CCC carb stuff working, headers, hooker cat back, comp 256xe and lots of other engine stuff. I recently rebuilt my first 700r4 and used a probuilt shift kit, beast sunshell, updated sprag etc. I put an slp zexel torsen in the rear and changed gears from 2.73s to 3.23s. Also upgraded to 28spline axles. Lots and lots of other miscleneaous stuff.. anyway. Here are some pics. First is after the wreck. Was rear ended by a jeep.

The wrinkles eventually came out of the bottom. A little heat gun work and some time sitting. The side accordians were shot, so I left them off. Not bad looking, but not quite finished either. You can also see the new carpet, indiglo dash, and megashifter with the hammer ****.

It's 2001 gm navy blue metallic. I'd painted it that color last time too.

very nice, i'm not actually sure what color mine is, which is annoying cause i bought it from someone and they didnt know either. it was originally maui blue or whatever that light blue is. i like this much better cause you dont see alot of them this color. if you could post more pics that would be awesome. its absolutely awesome.

Re: Got the formy all cleaned up
Every bit of the work, including paint and powdercoat I did myself. The only thing i'm unhappy with is my window tinting. .I'll have to have somebody do that over, hopefully before summer. For the powder coat I'm using a craftsman gun and columbia powder. Different application methods can really change the look of the powder. I did this a few years ago and didnt clear them, that ended up being a lighter gray. This time I cleared the first 3.. then got in a rush and applied the clear to the hot chrome color.. and it came out really dark. I liked it, so did it to all of them. Thats how they sit now.

Seats take alot of patience to do. I worked on them in the house for 3 weeks off and on. Here's a seat pic, hasnt been dewrinkled yet. Also of the back seats. Also a closer pic of the wheel powder coat.

They're reverse indiglo gauge overlays. I found them on ebay several years ago. They're only available for the 120mph speedo though.
