Good deal?
So I need a plethroa of parts for my 90 GTA, and I have the opportunity to buy a 1990 Formula for 1000 running and in not too bad of shape? It has all it's airbag stuff intact where as mine is missing, and lots of other pieces. Does this sound like a good deal?

Any more info on the Formula? What all do you need for your GTA?
I guess it's really up to you whether you think it's worth it or not. What are your plans for either one of the cars?

1990 Formula, 90 000 miles, 305 TPI auto, black on grey, Wiring has been competely re-done. I can take the tires since they're brand new, the driver's door, lots of interior trim pieces, airbag stuff. After that I'd probably just sell it. I just have no idea on what to do. The door on my GTA has been replaced but is rusting out alond the bottom.

IMHO, I'd hate to see a perfectly running Formula just used for parts and then sold. I would try to find a TA or another Formula that doesn't run and is just being sold as a parts car. Plus, it'd probably be cheaper that way too. That's just my opinion.

I do agree with you, if I had more funds I'd buy it and restore both haha. I'll see how it goes though. Aren;t the Formy's rarer than the GTA's?

Re: Good deal?
Rarer? Not too sure on that. I know around here in my area, there's one more Formula 350 and there's a 4th gen Formula driving around. Never even seen a GTA around here. I'm sure they're around but I just haven't seen them. I'm not too sure on the rarity of both, but I would imagine the GTA's are more sought after than the Formulas.

Oh and I just remembered I seen a nice looking chick driving a blue Formula on the highway a couple months.
I've just got a Formula that had the LB9 in it. Now it's got a 355.

But nobody around here has to know that. Although, you can tell it's not a 305 by the sound of it.
