we did not get many of these up here. its not in the best shape but it was fair price and i think it will be fun project.

i have spare 2001 3;42 gear camaro axle i will put in. 18 17 inch corvete magnesium bronze wheels. black interior and like new real jdm recaro seat for driver. want to keep it a low cost fun car.

guy up here has a 1LE 91 trans am white with all the stickers all over it still. been in storage about 10 years no interior or driveline. one of these days i will go back and give him an offer. last time i went i said "what you want for it" and he wouldnt say. one of those types of guys. how am i supposed to know if i want it ...

got the car home in one piece. couple questions.
the temp guage does not work. any ideas what might be wrong? i will search on here.
do i have aluminum spare? i thought they where silver.
does my idle oil pressure look ok?
all i have done is take the rear mud flaps off and spray the car with some rust proofing. one can. 8 more to go lol.

 

looks like the aluminum spare I had. try and stick a refrigerator magnet to it.

 

make sure temp gauge is connected on drivers side of engine block

 

thanks i will check in morning. when i turn ignition on the temp guage moves just a tiny bit. twitches. so i think that means the guage is ok.

 

Black spare tire, and your oil pressure looks fine, especially for idle. Thats what mine is at when I'm doing 55 lol but its kinda old and tired. As for the temp, the temp sender could be bad, stick a paperclip in both holes on the temp senders wire harness plug and turn your key on. If your temp gauge goes all the way up then your sender is bad.
