Haven't posted in awhile sorry, I got all the paperwork back on it and possibly will have it home this weekend?

 

So the car is at a buddys shop and tomorrow i'm going down to do some paperwork and start insurance shopping! I bought a iroc-z parts car for my dads iroc and if it has a disc brake posi rear in it I am possibly going to swap that in!

 

I found out what the knock sound was finally, spun rod bearing! I'm replacing all of them tomorrow night, plus putting in new tranny fluid and filter

 

Sadly the spun bearing damaged the crank so now I'm swapping a 350 TBI in it, link to that thread https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...ml#post5555043

 

The engine should be ready to pickup Saturday, its out of a 1993 Silverado 1500 2WD. I guess he broke a ball joint ( typical silverado) and its going to my dads buddies salvage yard

 

Going to pick the engine up tomorrow, so excited! Then i'm going to put new gaskets in and replace the timing chain and gears. I plan on reusing my intake and TBI off the 305, since its clean and the injectors seem new
