my 92 formula

I am going to use this thread to A. ***** out my car and B. to keep track of what I do to it. I haven't had much time to mess with it yet but eventually I will and thats where my updates will come in. as of now I will give you guys the vitals on the car with a couple pics and an exhaust clip and more pics will follow as the weather gets nicer and I start to mod her

Car is a 1992 Firebird Formula 305 TPI, started life as a original 5 speed car now sports a T-56 w/Spohn crossmember and Spohn adjustable TQ arm. She also sports a set of SLP Shorty headers, SLP Cold Air Kit, a Borla cat-back, a set of SLP runners and a 58 MM throttle body. She is also sporting a set of Ronal R15 "Firehawk" wheels. What I have to go on the car as of right now is new tie rod ends, and idler arm, a Spohn Wander bar, Spohn non-adjustable LCA, and a Spohn non adjustable Panhard rod

Nice! Got some tasteful mods on it. Get some fresh paint and it will look like a million bucks.

It has a mint black interior other than the dash pad but I have another one to go in it. Also I forgot to mention it has the lexan t-tops

Re: my 92 formula

has anyone used the Spohn Steering kit. I need new tie rod ends and I was thinking of spending the extra on this kit over getting MOOG stuff. the price difference is about 110.00. Any input is appreciated

Re: my 92 formula

Just a little update. I haven't done too much with the car lately but today I decided it was time to swap out the old cracked dash pad with a good one I had in the garage. Of course I didn't take pics of the old one in the car but I took a couple pics of it once I had it out. And also took pics of the new one installed.

Tightened up the steering box this afternoon, stopped for an ice coffee and snapped a couple pics. Also took an interior shot for those who wanted to see

Re: my 92 formula

Well ram air hood and box went on today. I know the fitment isn't perfect but I ran out of factory forward adjustment so I am going to have to open up the adjustment slots on the hood hinges to get the hood exactly where I want it. But it is functional for now and closes and latches like its supposed to so its useable. oh well on with the pics

Also a couple weeks ago it got Spohn LCA's and Panhard rod but I didn't take pics

no idea what brand it is. I bought the setup 2nd hand. i'll have to look and see if there is a tag anywhere but I doubt it. Once I get the alignment 100% where I want it i'll take more pics
