I stumbled across this car on Craigslist a week or so ago and decided I needed to bring it home so it would be saved by me or someone else from becoming a hackjob...


















According to the owner the car had been in his father's possession since he was younger so until I get the PHS or build sheet I will not know for sure if it was originally optioned with the Recaro seats.

305 TPI Auto, UQ7 Subwoofer (appears to be complete in the car but unsure if it is functional), ws6, posi rear 9 bolt axle.

No sticker in the glovebox to verify original options so I will be scouring for the build sheet or shelling money to PHS again for an invoice

 

Good Save, congrat's I really like that color combo,you don't see many like that anymore.Your interior appears to be Camel and according to the 86 FireBird Order Sheet Recaro''s were only available in Camel.I would say it's safe to say that those are original to the car.

 

Thought I had included this pic last night but guess I skipped over it, the Recaro seats are power, missing 2 of the ***** but the power seat still works, 6 way adj

 

Now if I can get the darn thing to just run so i can drive it...

Thats a Absolutely Great find. Not just A fully loaded Recaro car, But a power seat car. That is beyond rare. I have 3 Recaro power seats, and it has taken me the better part of 4 years to get them. A PHS doc is highly recommended. Not to many LB9,WS6,UQ7,UT4, CC1, Recaro cars left. Would also be cool to find out if the car had a UT4 Radio from the factory. As it is clearly missing. Then the only option it would be missing is the digital dash. But good luck finding one of those lol.
