LCpl Daniel Raney, USMC

LCpl Daniel "Gabe" Raney was killed in action July 9th. Gabe was serving with 3rd Bn 6th Marines in Marjah, Afghanistan. He was an avid camaro lover and was in the process of building a new 3rd gen. Please send your prayers to his family and brothers in arms, Thanks!

Re: LCpl Daniel Raney, USMC

While we are here in America doing what we do- going to work every day etc and playing on our off time doing things like "hot rodding" - our soldiers are right now overseas sevring this country. Serving this country means they in their minds are fighting for OUR freedon and defending OUR ways of life so we (YOU and I reading this)can continue to work and play as we see fit in a free society- regardless what corrupt politicials in higher ranks push the buttons and tell them where to go and what to do. With that said, I THANK YOU SOLDIER for your brave and honorable fight for my and everyone elses freedom. May you rest in pease, and while you do, please know that this American (ME) GREATLY appriciates your fight and ultimate sacrific for my freedom.

God bless you and your family.
It is a loss for all of us.

Re: LCpl Daniel Raney, USMC

My condolences to his family. I have no words to adequately honor his sacrifice. He is a true patriot. People keep talking about this war that "we" are fighting when they have no connection or reverence for the sacrifices that the people actually fighting are making.
But from a former Marine to current Marines, Semper Fi.
