I wanted to get an idea of the routes everyone is going to be taking to the event/car show on Saturday July 27th. I was thinking that those of us coming from the Baltimore and our surrounding areas could figure out a place to meet up and cruise on down together.

This is what I had in mind.
Since we are supposed to be down in Prince Frederick by about 12:00 or so, I was thinking we could meet up at this shopping center at the cross section of Route1 and 32 at around 10:30am. If you go to map quest and punch in 8700 Washington Blvd, Jessup, MD 20794 then click on the Big Map you'll see where Guilford Rd. and US Route 1 intersect. We can meet in the shopping center on the West/Left side of Route 1 where there is a Mickey D's, Taco bell Royal Farms etc etc etc. From there we can Jump on too 32, take it down too Route 3/Crain Highway, then Route 3 runs into 301 and Route 4.

dude, i was just at that shopping center about half an hour ago! anyway, that sounds cool. we can meet up and cruise up there together.

 

YOu worried me, I thought, that was it that was coming. My one brother won't be able to make it, he hasn't gotten his car on the road and lost his keys.

i was goin to work 3 july as i was about to got thru an interestion a lady pulled and hesitated. but she pulled out when i was about a car away from her then stopped. i had no where to go, i tried to stop but it was not happening the performance friction pads tried with all their might but failed. i t boned her right behind her door.
as the ambulance took me out i was tryin to c my car but they kept pushin me back down.

I might be there, how far is it from Ocean City, MD?

 

It's not that bad of a drive. I'll be going to OC before I go back to college. I would say 2.5-3hrs .

 

I checked mapblast and its looks like it will be too much driving for me, Unless a gathering could be at or near Ocean city.

If anyone knows of a gathering/show in PA or closer to South-Central PA, let me know. If anyone wants to get a PA gathering organized I all for that too.

 

i've been lookin for a iroc or z28 that already has a tpi motor in it so that i don't have to do any converting but all i keep finding r RSs. i would love to find an iroc with a bad motor or trans so that i can get it cheaper.

oh yeah i'm doin ok just a few bruises and pulled muscles.

Just to let everyone know, I'm going to try my hardest to be there. There has been some repairs that popped up with my wife's car thus post poning a trip to Allentown PA. If I can get us to go there on the 28th I'll be there on the 27th.

Well it looks like I'll be able to go to this meet. Hopefully I can meet some of you and get ideas on mods to my car. Right now it is completely stock but looking to get the Holley TBI, open filter air cleaner, World S/R Torkers heads, new stereo system all around, maybe an exhaust (exhaust system confusing as to all the choices available), and maybe more?

Those directions i posted are from two different places, do they mean the same thing or conflict at all, if any one knows?

Use the mapquest directions it is a lot easier. Also subtract about 2 miles, cause the address I gave out is Wal-Marts, I don't know Food Lions, but they're both right on MD-4. Also, by Food Lion is an Autozone, Arby's and Ruby Tuesday.

 

I will try and make it, you know the drive might be a little to long for me. I would have answered you sooner but I only read the posts like once every week or so. I canceled paintball to go, so I will be there. I guess I need to wax up my car now.

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been busy. Finally got my car through inspection (today as a matter of fact), and its running a little better, so I'll be there as long as I can get Sat. off from work, I'll know that in a day or two. Like RS92 said, time to wax the car.......

 

I just email another 20 people from VA, MD and NJ, WV , so hopefully they'll get the email and might come.
