thats right, only 2 more Friday night street car shootouts... Nov 22nd and 29th. ill be there both nights (weather permitting). ill be bringing all 3 of my cars for some end of the year runs. im trying to get a 15.9 out of my Z, a 13.0 out of the Vette, and some baseline runs out of my new Formula.

anyway what do you think your formula will run?

 

im hoping for high 13s (like 13.7/13.8). im gonna flush all the fluids and clean out the K&N filter on it and hope for some traction. im picking the car up from the dealer on Monday, so ill have some time to prep it.

best part about this car is that all the "Formula" decals and emblems have been removed. theres no way to tell its a LT1 unless you look at the taillights. ive already set up 2 races with people who think its a 6 cylinder! boy are they in for a surprise

I can probably make it the second Friday from today. Maybe this time I should give you my cell #? I had fun, but I was looking forward to meeting people there last time.

Did you see those two silver Supras? One ran 10.53 and one ran 10.58 when I saw them run each other -- insane :hail:

 

i saw the pair in the staging lanes, but i didnt see them run. Supras are the only import that really impresses me, when do you ever see a slow one?

looks like its a go for both you and Zupman on the 29th. ill see you guys there. hopefully ill get a chance to wash the car before i go down, or youll have to look for a brown Vette instead of a white one!

just thought id update:

Friday the 22nd got rained out i wanted to test my newly aquired Formula, but oh well.

anyone going on THE LAST Friday at Cecil, the 29th? ill definately be there, weather permitting, with all 3 cars. my brothers Vette wont be down cause hes still fixing it, so maybe i can convince him to let me borrow his DRs to use on the Formula.

so whos still in?

 

I'm getting a new cam on Wednesday, so i'm not too sure if it's gonna be running. I SHOULD have it running for Saturday though. i'll let you know further into the week...

there are 3 more Saturdays left... Nov 30th, Dec 7th, and Dec 14th. ill be there the 14th only, mostly cause i work every Sat morning and can only really take one of those days off. so if some of you guys cant make it on the last Fri, there are a few more days before they close for good

 

well thats good to hear, cause i was gonna be bustin my b*lls getting the car back together for this weekend. it still might happen, but i'm not as concerned now....
