quite a few have it from Md, some did it and some paid to get it done. if u need a shop to get it done they will most likely say which ones they went to.

i would set aside a weekend to do it, i would think the hardest parts are getting it lifted into place and the clutch system.

just in case u still in ur mind want an automatic still, u should really consider www.pro-built.net he is well known on here and makes trannies for strip / street or auto cross. they will support well over 400 hp i believe.

nothing wrong with my 700R4

Its actually a quite easy swap and most shops are intimidated by it so don't expect to many shops to wanna tackle it. Just besure to get everything on the list. Its pretty much bolt-in from what i remember when doing mine. You'll have to get the reverse lights to work somehow as i never did wire mine back up.

I got the t56, i called about every place in MD and NOONE will swap from auto to t56

however, thirdgenresource.com he priced me to do it for 900$
so if u wanna drive up to NC to him, he will do it.. it will jsut take him like a month to do it

True ... but the 10-bolt rearend won't Autos are just so much easier on the driveline - but, admittedly, less fun to drive.

Very true, any mild 350 with a T56 will blow up a 10 bolt after a few launches.
