I wasn't planning on going since my car is being sold, but my friend and I have off that night...I'll see if he doesn't mind carting me up. It's sorta pointless to drive an hour to a track in a minivan.

Mic, it looks like that rematch will have to be put on hold... i was servicing my TB today and one of the TPS bolts snapped off! no one at work had the correct size tap, so its just sitting now until i can find the right one. so looks like ill be in the 40th on opening day

 

I'm not sure who is going, and my friend who was going to go with me cancelled, so I'll wait around here and see if anybody happens to post something definite. Cecil is a little far for me anyway, but if some of you are definitely going, I'll come up.

i got there around 7:30 (was running late waiting at the shop for the welder to fix my EGR ) got there and the place was so jammed packed that the lanes were running into the pits! i got there and had to **** so bad that i told my friend to watch my car and move it up when the line moves. what does he do? hell if i know but when i get back my car is gone and the ******* track official told me i couldn't run cause of this. ****ing *******s! christ i brought 10 cars with me and drove in traffic for over an hour and had too **** damn it! the guy that moved my car said i could run and that i just needed to move my car. well when i get "back" in line the same ******* official told me i couldn't run even when i tried to explain what i was doing.

that really pissed me off especially when i never seen this track that packed!

 

i was wondering what happened to you dude. if it means anything to you i seriously doubt you would have gotten that 12 sec run last night. because there were so many people there, and most of them kept blowing up, the track prep went from bad to worse as the night progressed. even my GF couldnt hook on her drag radials! everyone was spinning last night, so i doubt you would have gotten those 1.8 60fts needed to run your 12. my best run of the night was my first, after that my E/Ts just kept getting worse cause of the lack of traction

yeah my friends told me it sucked oh well i'm going to MIR next weekend and see what happens although i doubt i'll get it there either
