i know alot of you guys work at shops and what not...i need to make some money.. ( my insurance just doubled to $220 a month)

so...i really dont care if i have to sweep floors 12 hours a day..lol...i'm just looking to make some money..


by the way, i'm ine Randallstown Area, and i'm 17.

i have been looking for a mechanic / auto industry job but havent found one so far. good luck.

luckily i have a night and weekend job, but i too am looking for a job in the mornings.

havent found much out there yet, mostly because i stoped looking for a month or two since i had to settle into my night job.

put in a app at reisterstown lumber co. truss dept. you need no experiance and they start at $10 an hour...it is about 50 hours a week

i'm more then willing to work 50+ hours a week...i just wanna keep my T/a on the road...damn insurance...anyone else have this problem?

i say you move up here Tom and live with us. I mean you can work with me at my fathers gas station. Hell he mite pay your insurance as well

as for the car insurances...i pay every 6 months almost $500 for the 87,but that one should drop once i turn 21 & for the RS $230 every 6 months.bad part of it is,they are both due one month after the other one & that is only coverage on the other persons car.

 

uhaul center in golden ring is hiring mechanics right now. you need your own tools.

 

what ins company you have? I'v got state farm and I pay what you in 6 months in 2

 

The insurance in randallstown/owings mills area has sky rocketed so much that i moved out. I talked to my ins. agent and its higher than some parts of the city Anyway as far as work goes in the area, i would try home depot or even starbucks. Those would be my picks for places to work in the area that pay ok and have decent working conditions. My insurance went from $1800/ 6months on my supra down to $415/ 6 months full coverage now that i'm in parkton.

 

if you want a decent job with room to grow get into truck driving, start out delivring car parts at a dealership than get into driving big trucks . you'll thank me for that, i get paid to drive around talkin on the cb makin fun of people mostly forign carsget in with the right company and you can take your work truck home wth you. i have four cars and don't drive them fun huh

 

What kind of skills and education do you have. I might be able to pull some strings if you have any kind of computer programming knowledge.

 

i know all im good at is manual labor and math, i think Tom is on the same boat with the manual labor thing

i'm on my parents insurance plan and i pay 50 a month, ask them about a afe driving packet and movie you can complete, it cut my insurance in half

 

i doubt it would help me though...i had an accident almost 2 yrs ago

 

i got in an accident about 7 months ago but it was settled between me and the person i ran in to so it wasn't claimed on insurance

problem is. most part stores around here you have to be 18...


i mean, you have to be 18 to buy spray paint at most part stores..its stupid

at wal-mart you have to be 18 or 21( i can't remember) to buy fuel injector and carburetor cleaner

 

you might have to be 18 but i never get carded and tomorrow i will.... but i look like im older. anyone here know of any open jobs that you can be as young as 15 to work at?

 

places like Mcdonalds and what not hire under 18
