I just wanted to say thanks to all the F-Body Hideout guys for organizing such a respectful thing! Thanks to Cory "Skyline" for being in charge of this.It was great!! Well organized too Nice meeting everyone!!!!!

long ride home from here wasn't it.

i wish i woulda went on the ride if they have it next year i'll def go.

 

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!! very long ride but it was worth it.more then likely ill be at the picnic so now i have more of an idea about that area down there.

 

it is a long ride but it's worth it to get together with all the tgo midatlantic crew

 

lol yeah ya'll are more friendly then those damn VA people in Fairfax Co or atleast the ones I've had encounters with today on the VA roads...no I'm not talking about any F-Body guys-lol!

 

gotta love the clowns on 495 ... it is everyman (or woman) for themselves there.

 

Maybe next year i wont be so broke and actually have the car out on the road.

Hmmm...low turnout on the Ride for Pride (24 cars total), thanks a bundle to CamaroGirl (Cristy) from making that long haul out here and glad I could offer her a place to stay for the night. And I'm sure Matt thanks for Matt and his undying efforts to just get there, no matter how! LOL.

Wish there'd been more third gens...there was me, Cristy and a T/A third gen, the rest were fourth gens...one great looking Chevelle and a Vette too. No Fords showed up for this one, unlike many previous ones from what I hear. Let's start planning for next year now so we can get the turnout higher and represent thirdgens!

Put it on your calendar today -- since I don't know what day it will be held, just mark out the entire weekend near Sept. 11 - no excuses!

 

I marked it off in my calender so hopefully I'll be out there next year.

 

I was there last year, and there was a total count of about 45 cars. Most of them were mustangs, was about 4 or 5 turd gens at the most. The rest were fourth gens.


Only 24 cars. I wonder why the low turnout?

 

BTW - CamaroGirl, Banana King misses you and Matt, how's that bite doing? LOL!

Laurie....im sooo glad i got over my fear of snakes,lol! now i think i wanna hold all of them.....*thinks about it*.couldnt believe he bit Matt.i talked to Matt on the phone last nite & i dont think he will be online for awhile cuz he got in trouble about something.also Laurie i miss Puss-Puss & "our" shower...lol!

Glad to help you get over your fear -- I posted pics this morning on my cardomain site ('92 T/A) of all but one of the snakes...I should have posted one of Ashton (aka Puss Puss) for you, lol.

 

darn. i was right here. i live right at the merge of 495 and 270. my stupid dad always has to be on top of things and didnt let me know that when we took my car to the mechanic for an oil change, he told him to hold on to it for a while and check some other stuff out. i bet you could imagine my face. i dont even wanna talk about it.

 

i got my iroc out back rustin away because i don't have the time to fix a stupid exhaust issue and the service engine light thing. so there it sits....probably won't fix it til spring realistically... iwould like to get the gta painted soon tho before it rusts away to nothin...but that might take 2 years to complete on my schedule..

so needless to say it wouldn't have made the trip around 495

 

the ride was awesome . thanks to laurie and cristy i could go. my finger felt better the next day and now you can barely see where i was bit. hopefully i will have my car there next year . hey cristy your shirt still blue? good times

Btw...as far as turnout this year, we had 25 vehicles...17 4thGens, 3 3rdGens, 1 C6 Vette, 1 GN, 1 Chevelle, 1 late-model Impala, and 1 late-model Grand Prix.

In 2004, the count was 39 vehicles...12 4thGens, 3 3rdGens, 1 2ndGen, 16 Mustangs, 2 GNs, 1 C5, 1 C4, 1 Yukon, 1 F150, and 1 old Plymouth Fury.

If you minus the Mustangs, the 04 count was actually smaller. As far as FBodies, there were 20 this year vs 16 last year. I don't think the word was put out on any Mustang boards this time, obviously because none showed up.

Anyway, sorry for getting tech on ya'll, I hope all who attended had a good time.
