I work on East Gude, right across from the Potomac Garage, Zamura's Auto Body and some Audio Shop, but I can't remember the name of it. I'm in the building just in front of Executive Tire -- don't look for the purple beast these days though, she's hibernating for winter. I might bring her out next Sunday and do a Central Maryland F-Body club meet if they're still happening -- need a break from Xmas crazies.
We have a shop here behind the Mobile Gas Station in Damascus, Maryland who is the only guy I would trust with my tranny -- too many others before him f*cked it up and I nearly got myself killed at least once, N/K! He got her perfect the first time...I plan on him doing my tranny swap sometime during the winter/spring -- I'm waiting for a good deal on a manual.
My b/f said that you need to tell him that "Mark from Sam's Auto Body" sent you -- otherwise he might not fit you in if you don't have a connection.
(And this is only if DJ isn't available.)

cool, thanks for the info...but for a swap like this i really am looking for someone who has done this before, especially with the couple of places you need to cut and all the other specifics. i might call them up and see if they have done it before though. what did you do with yours? just a rebuild?

No rebuild -- had to be re-set after the overhaul (entire car was dismantled for overhaul). This is the guy who is going to do my swap out though -- my b/f doesn't trust anyone else with his cars. He refers all his customers to him and he wouldn't do that unless he was comfortable with his work. Doesn't hurt to contact them...I think the garage is owned by the Mobile station too, but not sure about that. The garage is down one level and in the back off Damascus Road (Rt 108) right after it merges with Ridge Road (Rt 27).
They have race fuel at that shop too -- I've been dying to try just a little...lol.
