Crazy Ray's in Jessup
Went there this morning looking for some odds and ends, and there's a '91 Firebird with a TPI engine. Eighth digit of the VIN is an 8 ... an L98, right? Actually I think it's a GTA as there's goo on the fenders where the GTA emblem would be. Dark green exterior, tan leather interior. Somebody had taken off the intake runners and fuel rail, but they were still with the car. No injectors, and the fuel rail looks like it has been hacked so maybe they were just looking for the injectors? But I think the injectors are all that's missing of critical stuff. Still has the upper plenum and throttle body. It's up on tires like somebody was going to pull the engine and/or trans. Didn't check to see if the transmission was still in the car. It has the gold 16" cross-laced wheels on the back, no wheels on the front; main dash with the gauges are still there.
There is also an earlier 2.8L Camaro that had a pretty decent interior. The top of the dash is in excellent shape -- no cracks. I took various torx screws since I'm missing a few.
There's an LT1 Firebird in the far left corner. All the accessories are off the front of the engine, but it looks like all the other stuff is there.

I don't know. The dash and center console looked almost exactly like my '82 other than the speedo and tach. Still had the "ERS" (Extended Range Sound) badge on the dash. Which is why I was guessing that it's earlier in the thirdgen years.
I should start bringing a camera whenever I go.

Went to Crazy Ray's this morning, and there's an LT1 Trans Am ('93-'95 I think) just as you get inside with aftermarket (guessing Spohn) rear lower control arms and unadjustable panhard bar. Look to be in good condition with zerk fittings. I should have snagged them seeing how much they are new. The back end is already up on the Crazy Ray's jackstands (tires
) so it's easy access. The car is red next to a green V6 4th gen Firebird. The engine is unmolested, too.

Re: Crazy Ray's in Jessup
I went to jessup today. bout a half dozen thirdgens...nothing really good though...nothing to make me stop and want to post here about. nearly all were ttop cars though...with some decent ttops.
also went to hawkins point off 695. saw a real nice 91-92 t5 rs car. interior in great shape..i grabbed some pieces. i left the 3 keys in the hatch lock. the c&c ttops are gone...someone who wants this nice interior grab it before it rains! that steering wheels was just about perfect.
there was a silver formula firebird..had the back end jacked up way in the air destroying what looked like a decent front bumper cover.

Yep Ive been goin there for a few years now.I hit all 5 locations. The prices at Crazy rays are fairly high compared to the yards around here but the cars arent nearly as picked over as they are at my local yards.I always find good stuff at crazy`s that wouldnt last a day around here. For example the other day when I was there I came home with 3 pairs of camaro fog lights,a set of 91-92 hood blisters,90-92 145 mph gauge cluster and a ton of other good parts

I went to hawkins point rd that same day. That t-5 car was torn apart.I also stopped at a renagade yard I know in MD off of rt 40 and they had an 87 GTA digital dash car(gone of course) but it still had all 4 Black crosslace rims
Re: Crazy Ray's in Jessup
