New to Third gen!

Hello all! New to third gens, I just picked up a 92 Firebird T-Top with a 5.0 TBI with auto trans. Lots of great info on this site, I am looking forward to learning all I can here. I wanted to eventually do an LT1 swap, but after looking over some of these build threads, I am now leaning towards an LS1. One day at least....

I've got nothing against carbed 350's, but I'm just looking for something I can turn the key and drive. A few of my buddies have older hot rod trucks (one with a 350 one with a 383) and they run well and sound mean but they aren't always start Em up and walk away. There's always some sort of trick to keeping them idled when first started. Besides I havea 350 in my 79 c30 ifi ever want to go that route on a build.

I never said anything about a carb. I prefer fuel injection as well but i'm getting tired of all the LS swaps.
