even though there weren't as many cars as usual, or the 'rarer' ones, it was still great 434 entrees

Don't flame me, but I liked the Boss 302 mustang. I would kill for one of those. That black TA was sweet too. I don't know the year but it was second gen and had the older nose on it, so 78 or older. But is was so clean. I wish someone had pissed on that kids black crapalier. Nice show though.

LMAO. I liked that humongous guy on the golf cart. I have never felt so sorry for a golf cart. He covered the entire seat, and those tires were about to go.

Umm.... Ozzy truck???

I know I know... I woulda liked to have been there but... well... I'll let this pic show you where I was. I know I wasn't far away, but I wasn't the one driving, and we didn't leave till almost 1 AM.

This has to be about the coolest pic I've ever taken... too bad the 2 guys are in it. Talk about feelin the heat! Not to mention the freakin shockwave when they start plusing the turbine on warmup... or when they hammer if off the line! I tell ya what those things were a biznich and a half to stage. They had a total of 6 of these monsters, and had to close the highway while they were running because they were blasting smoke about 150 behind them and if smoked out the road. Plus the crew were yelling "Everyone get the ----- outa the way!" and woudln't let anyone NEAR the burnout area... don't need any on the spot creamations after all.

BTW - Big Daddy Don Gartlis ran a 5.15 in his top fuel car, and I tell ya what, I'd never seen/heard/felt/got my *** kicked by a nitro funny car or top fuel car before... holly crap... everyone has to see this at least once it their life.... its absolutely unreal. And out seats were about 40 feet from the burnout box, about 70 from the starting line. I just stood up where I was sitting to take this picture.
