well, i'm going for one last trip to get some parts.

there are quite a few early camaros and at least one good 92 firebird and a couple that aren't.

if anyone needs some sort of particular part let me know and i'm sure we can work something out.

also, crunch time is coming up and i'm getting ready to strip alot of things off my car. mostly stuff under the hood........but a few others including rims so those who might want something off my car let me know or make me an offer.

I assume that you are going to a junkyard, right? Can you get any injectors or a MAF sensor? At least a couple of my injectors seem to be leaking a bit (enough to make the car undriveable at times).

not much left appearance wise; injectors..........i wouldn't pull those anyway.... who knows what was wrong with the car. it wouldn't be worth the time or money.

blisters............i wish; i hate to tell you but if i found some i'd probably keep them for myself too. but, if i do run across any that i wouldn't use then i'll be sure to let you know.

this is just a suggestion mainly to people who are close to the detroit area that might need something so that it can be done locally and very easily as well as cheap for any of you looking for some parts.

let me know........the next day its nice i'm going.

Injectors aren't that expensive considering how important they are.. You can get good ones for roughly 6 bucks a peice. Definately not something you wanna get from a junkyard. You said yours are leaking? Are you sure it's not just the o-rings?

Yea, I'm pretty sure that its the injectors. I bought a fuel injector tester a while back and have used it a couple times now. The #1 injector wouldn't hold pressure after being held open for 1/2 a second, though it seemed ok when pulsed rapidly (1 once every 50 milliseconds for 1/2 a sec if memory serves me) the last time tested it. The first time I tested them, I think 2 of them stuck open at first, then were ok when I checked them again.

Where can you get injectors for $6 a piece? the cheapest I saw on carparts.com was $73 each, and I think that getting them reconditioned costs about $25 each. Please tell me!

wow that's alot, i can get high performance accel's or something similar for a v8 for around 400 or less...... do the math and that's less than 50 a piece. so i know you can get stock, average v6 ones for alot less than that. don't know where your looking; but you need to look elsewhere.

true.....i was just making a point that items like that rarely even make it to any kind of lot.

something that costs that much with such a demand........most people that own these cars know that much. typically i run across 90-82 irocs, z28s, rs, berlineta, etc. and alot of v6 firebirds and transams.......ocassionaly 305.

most people that own 350's buy them back so don't think i was just trying to keep all good parts for myself and give out the leftovers.

i've pretty much got everything i could need off of a stock car except for a ac delete box........

Those are tough to find. I finally got one a little while back for my car. One of these days I'll get around to putting it in. They sell for a fortune on eBay!!!

a driverside door console..........?

there was a 92 there that had complete interior but you would need to tell me exactly what your talking about, plus your out of state, even if i gave it to you it would be cheaper to go find one in your state.

I just remembered something that would help me out a lot. If you find a stock airbox for a TPI Firebird, I'll take it. My car came with it tossed in favor of a K&N cone. While I know that this is a step backwards, it will also make me techniclly legal for the F-Stock class at SCCA autocrosses. The non-stock intake bumps me up to the street modified class where I would be annilated, as the K&N has no real decernable effect, especially on an autoX course.

If this is too late, don't worry it's not a pressing issue, just thought about it tonight.
