looking for a donor v8 camaro or firebird. preferably one between the years of 90-92. any damaged, not running, or rusty junkers you want to get rid of, let me know. doesnt matter what kind of trans.

 

Looking to sell my 85 TA. Trans slips and it has a dent in passenger door. Interior could use a little work. TPI 350 runs great! T-tops. Have pictures if interested. New tires, cowl hood. Thinking $2,000

It sounds like you're just looking for a vehicle to pull parts from, but I have a '91 Formula for $2300. It has 305TBI w/ AT, t-tops, most power options, etc. Red exterior, grey interior. No rust, paint is in decent condition, interior is average. Almost totally stock. Makes a perfect daily driver or swap candidate...

I'll sell you my 88' camaro for $750 or $1050 if you wanted the fresh 3.42 posi rear and aluminum driveshaft, or $3000 for it running with my 350 in it. Its rusty but the engine that will go with it has about 35k on it. You would also have to tow it since i do not have the original rear and the 305 needs a couple of parts to be complete. It would take me a little bit of time to get it ready since i have my 350 in it currently. Tell me what you think.

Let me revise that it could be any camaro or bird with the 89-92 v8 setup. If anyone knows of any cars like this let me know.

 

I still have my 85 TA. The motor is from an 89 TA and the heads have just been rebuilt. The trans slips but the car has got to go.
It has headers and exhaust. New tires, rear shocks and Panhard bar. Disk brakes all around and T-tops.

 

sounds good, definetly interested. is it 350 tpi? is it the correct ecm and harness for an 89? i can only really afford up to 800 or 900. let me know what you think. is it driveable, runnable?

 

It is a 350 TPI. It is all for the 89. I think it has around 70000 on the motor. It runs good and sounds nice. It is drivable. The trans does slip. I have to dig up the title. I have been remodeling and it is in a box someplace. Could you go 1000? Let me know. If you want you can give me a ring. 815-761-8519.

did u say it had a posi or am i thinking of another car. also what exactly did you do with heads, port?valve job? and what kind of condition is the rest of the engine in mechanically?

 

I had the heads rebuilt and new valves put in. The rear end as a borg warner 9 bolt w/disks. Not suer about the gear ratio. The motor is in pretty good shape and runs pretty strong. If you get this in the next few min. you can give me a call.
