I live in Elk Grove and was just wondering if there was a club nearby.....thanks guys -Don o I hav an 88 T/A 355 TPI

 

theres no real 3rd gen chicago club but Tim, Rob, Bill and i all have 3rd gen birds and hang out from time to time. Cant call it a club but its a good amount of fun and nice way to meet new friends that love their cars as much as you do!

 

Im in the MFBA club. (Midwest F-Body Association) They are pretty local and most of them have 4th gens, but everyone is pretty cool regardless. www.mfba.org

 

yea i'm apart of that too just a few of us 3rd gen in it though but the 4th gen people are cool respectful of us 3rd gen people!! havent been to a meeting in awhile but have met a few good friends from MFBA

 

there's a LOT of us on the south side...if you ever wanna meet up and cruise send me a PM over the net.

 

South side is a little far for my bird to fly......but Firebirdchick24 do you all hang out at McDonalds at Barrington and Irving?....if so i think ive seen you there.....my bird isnt out yet i think she hates me....having problems with timing and ****......

 

I hang out at the mcdonalds there once in a while when its nice out. I was there last friday night until the cops showed. Saw a guy with a red IROC that looked nice, dunno if he posts here or not. I saw another white RS too. I dont know of any other clubs around here, I dont even know anyone on these boards, but it would be cool to hang out with a few of u guys and check out the rides.

 

i went there once with bill (fruityone) but left right away cuz i saw it was all ricers sometimes i might be driving by if i'm in the area to see there are any other 3rd gens other than the white camaro i see there whenever i pass....but if theres no more then one or two 3rd gens and the rest ricers i dont go.

 

Well, we're not a formal club by any means , we do have quite a few people involved on a regular basis..... most weekdns u will find at least 6 of us out in our cars with some weekends we get into the teens in amount of cars/people.. Tim and Bill just came out our way fri and we had a lot of fun.. Like on a sat, times from schaumburg to here are roufghly an hr or so and vice versa. We talked about ehading out that way fro some cruising too.. U ever want to wander out this way, put out a calling on the Nw In/south chicago board, we are almost always out and tend to party during the summer too, so look us up
