Anybody weld-in sub frame connectors?
I want to get my sub frame connectors installed before the car goes away for the winter, and one shop around me said $150
I was wondering if anybody not too far from Rockford, IL could help me out here?

I asked him online how much it'd be to install my Alstons and he said $70 if I already had the carpet pulled back. A bit more otherwise.
Even if a small hidden cost comes up, it's a bunch cheaper then your guy.

Yes you do not want to have the carpet of anything that can start on fire in the interior when welding.
Call the first shop and ask how much if you pull the carpet beforehand.
Another good idea is to prep the spots where the welds are going to go. Make sure you do this not long before you will have the shop weld the connectors, as you do not want rust. Less time for the shop, more $$ in your pocket.
