springfield ohio, about 30 miles east from dayton on I70. suspose to be the biggest show in the mid west. car show, swap meets, cars for sale. do a search for clark or clarke county fair grounds. show dats are memorial day week end, week end after labor day and i think 2nd week end in novemebr

depends on what you want to attend...

there is super chevy, hotrod, nopi, gm nationals and that's not even getting into the all camaro shows.

you've got two here in michigan, ontario nationals, two in ohio, and a few more on the southwestern corner.

then you get into the weeklong events like the 3 gratiot cruises, woodward dream cruise, st. ignace, frankenmuth, etc.

from the day i pull my car out of storage on the 27 of april all the way until the last day of october there is an event almost everyday with a big show at least every other week.

don't forget about the indoor shows too! you still have time to sign up for autorama and motorama to gain acceptance.

how custom or nice does a car have to be for shows like autorama and such?

im planning on attending an indoor show at Notre Dame early in '04, well if i get the car done

there are some little cruise ins around me, but i have just really gotten into going to some bigger shows within the past year. im also planning on attending camaro superfest again, and making the trip to woodward dream cruise.

well the year i did motorama it was very hard to get into autorama. i basically had to do everything new for autorama which i'm doing again this year.....that is if you want to compete. to get in the door it's a toss up. the quicker you reply the better chance you have but you better be ready to work on the car because every aspect is looked at.

thanks
i think i might have to wait another year to try for big competitive shows like that. since im running out of time, and money is tight right now.....i dont think that everything would be done on the car by then. i will look into to it though
