mostly parts for older cars but it has been getting better over the years for the newer cars. what are you looking for? i don't know what time it starts but i think it usually costs 10 for parking and 8 to get in .

you might want to check at a machine shop for heads they might be willing to trade you. but make sure they are tuned port heads and not the TBI heads.

ok I went to the meet a coulpe years ago, noticed something odd, if u wait long enough (in the fricken cold), wait for soemone to open one of the side doors, and slid right in, no reason to pay.
umm, I wouldnt be suggesting something wrong here or illigal or anything just you people should keep an eye out for someone maybe like 6'4" 255 sneaking in
hold on a second that sounds just like me...

If your going to your first swap meet, be sure when your looking for parts specific to your car, that you ask them what its for before you tell them what you drive(like headers). (run-on sentence, lol)
And everyone will tell you every set of heads come off a Corvette or they are 2.02 heads

they all are like that...you won't find show pieces but if you really look you can find some deal. even my throttle body had to be polished out but to save 250 on something i needed was well worth the 18 to get in.

Yea it was pretty sweet, i couldnt believe how large it was.
the only downfall was teh fact that i didnt have any money to spend, i had to actually borrow 10 bucks for admission from Posbird to get in.
on another Downside... we met up with Jeff(Kandied) later that night to sell him a block....he saw my car asked how it was running (great i replied)....
i get home and i hear this ***-Awful whine... my alternator fried....what luck.
i guess i can thank Posbird for helping me with the 10pm alternator and Belt install....and for lending me 100 bucks for the parts

Wow, admission is pricey up there. The best swapmeet of the summer here is the Tri-Chevy Swapmeet in Peotone, IL in June. Admission is like $3 or $4.
A couple summers ago my brother bought a TPIS intake w/3 sets of injectors & the TB & harness & everything for $600 at Tri-Chevy. He polished up the intake and sold the whole setup for $1750 on eBay. Swap meets rule.
