talking about bad luck
just got a call from the shop that was building my rear-end, the damn housing is bent....
so now with 3.5 days left till the car has to be done for a show, i have no rearend or any brakes. such
atleast the rest of the car is almost put together. I have an apointment to get my windows tinted the this friday morning, 2 hours before my move in time for the show

Dude pat, that sucks. Good luck with getting it done. What tintting place you goin to, and how much they run? I gotta get my hatch tinted.
My car is almost back togather. Wound up having to use a '91 RS hatch cause the other TA one I had broke on me. The car is 3 different colors with the center piece of the 3 piece camaro spoiler on it. I got my old firebird one and that'll go back on when i have money for paint. I'm gonna hate driving a multi-color car around. Probably wont be painted till summer.
You still up for a meet this spring?

well i have another disk brake housing, but its in storage and not very accesible right now. i have the 4.10 posi drum rearend that i took out of the car, but its all rusty and crappy looking. i dont know what im going to do yet
matt, i think the place is called 1a auto, its in southbend someplace....i just hope i can make it down there it time.
let me know when you want to get your car painted, i should be able to hook you up with some good prices. im up for a get together this spring, after this show is over, i can start getting it together

sorry to hear the bad luck, its always in that time that it happens though. push through and get the car done.
be sure to get some pics! as well as some of the other hot cars there too.

yeah everything was going to smooth not to have something go wrong at the end.
with a illness in the family, i didnt have time to finish some of the interior pieces fully, but i hope it will OK for the show
now i just have to make a display:lala:
