anyone interested into going to Lapeer dragway the weekend of May 15th?

im going to be over towards Detroit with a few friends for a meet, and we think it would be would fun to get some base numbers for this year. and i want some new times before a new cam gets installed

but beware.....the GTP that just dyno'd at 295hp and 382 tq will be there, so make sure your 3rd gens are in good tune

 

would that be on the weekend like sat/sun? i don't know if i'll be back from IN in time with the car but if i am i'll go.....let me know. i'll bring my gtp too!

 

either sat or sun would work probably, i think we were be in town for the whole weekend, maybe even hitting up some clubs over there



im worried about all these GTP's now....they are just getting to fast now

 

sbc is fun but it's nice to have a fast daily driver with a/c. well let me know, it's only about 45 min west of me so if the car and i are back i'm game....it will be interesting to see how the new suspension handles at the track.

 

Is that weekend for test & tune? I did`t get a track calander in the mail this spring. I`d like to go but if there`s class racing, sunday is probably out for me....count me in for saturday thou

i would but it isnt going to be able to happen with school and work. i already took off from work a day to go to stanton on the 1st. i wasnt planning on taking my car up there, but if some third gens want to go i will drive mine up there. the 1st of may at stanton is primarily a grand prix event, but there is also test and tune. any one up to the trip?
