Header opinion

I recently recieved a set of "Hedman Hedders", long tubes for my '89 Formula, but it seems that everything I've read has been "a nightmare" to install the long tubes on an f-body. Whats everyones opinion here? Should i install them, or try and sell them for a set of shortys?

I'm not sure about hedman LT's but my hooker super comp LT's fit just fine. The problem you have with long tubes is getting an exhaust on that doesn't have ground clearance issues.

The Headmans are you best bet for F body cars when it comes to long tubes. They dont' have as much of a clearance issue as some other Long tube headers.

whenever they rust out not like they're that expensive. besides i've seen non-coated headers last 20 years, no salt or rain and they'll be fine. not worried with the whole $109 that they cost anyways, could buy 3 sets of non-coated headers for that amount of cash.

Don't you mean "3 sets oh headers for the price of a coated pair?"
