Looking for IROC/Z28 hood.
Need 85-92 IROC or Z28 hood in WI or MN area, paint doesn't matter, condition needs to be fairly straight. willing to travel a little ways.

WOW....I B in Central Illinois..... that's a long trip for a hood. I am biddin on some parts on ebay that are in northern illinois. I will prolly have to drive up and get them to save on shipping. Might consider making a road trip with the hood if I win the stuff. I will post some pics of the hood on my car domain site. Check it out. It's under my sig......

This one is an 85+ Iroc hood. The one above is what came on my camaro which is an 82. Arent they pretty much the same thing besides colors?

Here's that hood I was gonna post up.....forgot to do it the other day. I didn't win the stuff up in northern Illinois so no road trip for me. It's here if you want it. Make an offer. I can store it for you inside if you plan on coming to Illinois sometime in the future....

what is the difference in the hood on my car, and the 85? I dont see a difference, can someone please help me out?

The hoods are similar, but not the same. The molded in area on your hood is narrower, and placed closer together than the IROC/Z28 hoods. The IROC hoods have holes drilled into them for the louvers/blisters to sit in and is raised around the edge of those molded in areas for the louvers/blisters to blend in to the hood.
They are "pretty much" the same thing........only different...
Arent they pretty much the same thing besides colors?
