I go skiing for 12 days and everyone decides to sell their car! I just looked at the classifieds and about lost it. Why is everyone bailing on their projects right before they are DONE? I want answers!

 

Some may need to dump it because of the hard times of the Holidays.

Most Holidays brings financial hardship on people, here you have 3 major holidays in a 30 days time.

Well today I found the TA had a cracked block. I am mad and happy at the same time. I have an engine to put in. I need to purchase a picker instead of borrowing one. Well time for early Christmas for me... including bloody knuckles and dirty finger nails. My hands were finally clean from being on va ca.

 

Anyone with a cherry picker and some inclination, feel free to help me out, BTW. My friend offers his engine builder can make me a long block (as I understand it) for around $1400 to replace my 122K L98 350.
Right now though, just gonna freshen it up on a very tight budget. I still feel that at just over 100,000 miles, tuneups are likely on most cars, but you also seem to pass a jinx spot regarding GM's vehicles and if they can run smooth longer, they will REALLY last longer. My last Deville, for instance had 350,000 on the block and though, still needed work, it ran... and quite too
