Felpro gaskets
The two major car tweakers I work with say USE ONLY Felpro, so with that in mind, Anyone have the valvecover gaskets I need specifically, though I could use a full set? Any extras in very good shape? I ordered an intake set that did get abused in the shipping, waited too long for a return (not being astute at this), anyway, If there's a remote chance, I'm leaking fluid as we speak, not good!

Is there a Pep Boys in Eden Prairie, MN? I don't know of one but I was looking at beating eBay prices...seams there aren't many for my specific TPI L98, at least cheaper the $75 on up

well you could just call northern auto parts and order a full set if that's what you're looking for. www.northernautoparts.com
they have great prices on fel-pro gasket kits.

If your motor has centerbolt valve covers I would highly recomend the rubber felpro gaskets I have not had any issues with them and I have had them on and off several times with no leaking.
And they are much cheaper than 75 I actually think they set me back about 20 bucks or less.

I'll be looking for these replacements in the week/s ahead so, thanks for the quick reply. My friend thinks I need to spend $150 on top quality gaskets but, yeah, the 1989 tuned port L98 is a center bolt pattern..

BTW
Black Ice, I was told via email you might know of a power antenna i could get for less then the typical $50 they go for. I need to replace for my 1988 Deville FWD as well.
I think after hearing about all gasket problems from the local 'tuners' I work with, I'm set on sticking with Felpro so I don't need to remove all the hardware more then once, though likely I may have them or someone in a shop tackle my heads when I have money for that...and manifold as well. I bought traditional Felpros for that but they were bent in shipping sadly...pic below:
