Camaro Superfest
Does anyone have the dates for this year? Their site has been down for awhile now...
it's always the july 4th weekend. i've told barry time and time again to change it but they won't. that's the reason it isn't the largest camaro show in the world.

anyhow use any 2005 calendar. should be JULY 1,2 & 3.

yeah me too... while MIS is redundant it is what gets the people from out of state to drive down. attendance will be low again this year probably. i already signed up via. paypal on their site a few weeks ago. should be a good time reguardless but i won't be spending a full weekend down there like usual now because of the missing friday event. the track is open to just superfest people though so it should still be fun to watch for a little while.

What is the difference between the judged show class and the drivers class? I want to show up and hang out with everyone and park with the crowd and not out in BFE, but my car will be in no shape for actual car show judging.
then enter drivers class as that's what it's for. if you want to park and show off your ride without dealing with the politics that's the answer for you. if your interested in the show aspect you should enter anyway as your car doesn't have to be a true show car to enter, they have various classes.
i am not planning on entering judging either this year, it will depend on how many cars are in the class, if there is over 6 or less then 3 i will otherwise i'm just going to park and relax. now that they don't have trailered classes it should get interesting and a no tie rule!

I will be there again this year. This would be my 5th(?) year, going on my 3rd Camaro. I am also not sure if I will be there on Friday. My car is too slow to bother going to the drag races on Friday. However, I like hanging out with everybody, and my kids love using the pool, so we'll seee.
well MIS was out bidded by a competing auto manufacturer for an employee appreciation day.
the fact milan is reserved for only camaro superfest will be a nice change over the hectic test and tune so we'll see.
as far as the date, apparently they are considering moving it. they are trying not to conflict with other larger shows like carlisle and the rest however they are failing to realize that the heart of the show (michigan and great lakes people) are not attending because of the holiday. i'm going to post a poll here in a bit about changing the date. i'm going to post it at every f-body site i visit. if there is one in particular that you visit please do the same as i would like to get the date changed as i know more would attend so i'd like to see what others think.
as far as judging.. there are no trailered classes this year and they actually purchased not enough plaques so certain classes will only have up to 3 places and there will be absolutely no ties. we'll at least that's what they claim... we'll see.
should be fun either way. now that you have read this, please go vote at the poll.
