700R4 and a 305 long block for sale in Mn

I am going to be pulling a 305 bolted to a 700R4 out of my 88 Firebird parts car here very shortly. the motor runs great, just had a bad fuel pump along with a slew of other little things wrong with the car that just made things to costly to fix which is why I was able to buy it and part it out. I actually bought the car from a neighbor of ine and I did some brake work on the car last summer and test drove it after words so I can say first hand that the motor rund really good. I removed the TBI setup on it so thats not available. exhaust mans and Y pipe can go with the motor if the buyer needs them. the tranny does not have a dust sover, the torq converter will be going with this tranny. the 2 wire harnesses on the drivers side will also be going with the tranny although they are cut with alot of length. $20.00 for the motor and $150.00 for the tranny.parts are located 15 miles west of Rochester Mn off of hwy 14 in Kasson, 1.5 hours south of the twin cities.

naw $20.00. actually what I might do is take this motor along with the other motor I have in the garage and take them both to work along with any junk steel parts I take off this parts car I have now. if I get a bin just for me and fill it up with parts (steel only) then I may be able to get a few bucks out of them.

305

Is the motor still available? Call me @ 319-573-5914 or leave me a number that I can call you at. I'm in NE Iowa so picking it up should be that big of a deal.

BTW, I just need the shortblock.

Chris

Chris, I pulled the motor and tranny out of the car today. I got bored lol. it took longer to setup the cherry picker than it did to pull the motor and tranny.I am just going to leave the cherry picker assembled to make things quicker when you stop by for the motor. just figured I would give you an update.

tranny works great!! it comes with the converter, dipstick tube, t.v. cable, vss, and the wiring harness. at the end of the tranny is the exhaust mounting brkt so that is there also. pretty much everything you need for this tranny is here. it will need fluid however since pulling it out with the motor I lost fluid which is very typical when doing this so after it is installed in another car it will need to be toped off. I sell on Ebay all the time under the name 84transam so you can look there and see that I am not a crook lol. I am pretty firm on the price b/c if I don't sell it I am going to use it in the future on my current project.
