Anybody interested in an Open Road Coarse.
NASA cancelled their June 25-26 weekend at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. A 2 mile road coarse close to my house.
I know the owner. We can have the track for open session for the weekend, IF THERE IS ENOUGH INTEREST.
Cost would be around $ 300 for both days. The more confirmed showings the better. The cost above is with 200 enterants in mind.
I would like to take the next day or two to see the amount of interest.
I will be seeing the owner this weekend, and I would like to present this to him. It helps him fill a lost weekend, and gives us a chance to really drive our cars.
I figure we will use three groups, Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Everyone will need a helmet, rating of M2000 or better.
Convertiables will need arm restraints, and t-tops should be able to lock. Run with out t-tops, then you will need arm restraints.
I have ran with NASA in HPDE, and high speed autocross with MWC, and it is a blast.
Lets try to get as many reservations as possible to take to BFR and have this event, even with the real short time to put it together. Goal is at least 200 enterants.
E-mail dillinderracingent@sbcglobal.net to reserve your spot.
or call Todd at (608) 364-4191 after 7 P.M. C.S.T.
Lets get the list filled !!
Thank you and wish all is well,
Todd O. Dillinder

NO GO on the Show
Just spoke to the owner. It is decided that this get together and open track will not happen this year.
I have not recieved any e-mails of interest.
However, I am going to plan the open track for May of 2006
That way I can have real registration forms ready, insurance paid, and all the other I's dotted and T's crossed.
Within the next couple of weeks I will have all the information down.
I am sorry I could not risk $20,000.
But like I mentioned, I will be starting on setting up a whole weekend in May 2006. I am looking at May 20th and 21st of 2006.
I will pass along more information as I confirm.
Thank you, and wish all is well,
Todd

I believe you can still go racing at Blackhawk, Monday. Dave Winters is having a fund raising and the track will be open all day for $150.
